SOLD - `66 Cessna T-210F Turbo Centurion - SOLD

N6107R is one of a rare breed, serial number 7 of 197 total strutted Turbo 210's built for the 1966 model year.  N6107R was issued a standard Airworthiness Certificate after 6.0 hours of test flights on 4 August 1965.  Early log entries show this T210 being located in East Alton IL for its first few years.  Late 1960's entries show maintenance being done in the Denver area, before moving to the Ogden area shortly thereafter.  The sheet metal in this aircraft reflects the dry mountain and intermountain west history.

The T210F airframe is neary identical to the 206 airframe of that vintage.  The higher lift airfoil gives this plane excellent short field performance.  The 1967 T210G and later model 210's had the semi-laminar flow airfoil that optimized speed (2-3 knots gained) at the expense of lift production.  The F-model Turbo 210 feels like it jumps off the ground compared to later models.  Personally, I prefer the bulletproof strutted 210 airframe - it gives me peace when being tormented by the severe turbulence from the 14,000+ foot peaks seen in the background of the photo above.

With a fresh Western Skyways engine, 3-blade Scimitar prop, Aspen primary flight display, and S-Tec 50 Autopilot with altitude hold, this Turbo Centurion is ready to go for serious IFR cross-country adventures.

The Turbo 210F is well known for its high altitude skills (it set the single engine altitude record in 1966 at 39,334 feet) as well as for comfort and load carrying.

Please don't hesitate to call us at (303) 503-8356 with further questions regarding N6107R, insurance, finance options, upgrades or transition training. This plane is now based at the Longmont Vance Brand Airport in the Denver area, and can be viewed by appointment.
