1977 Piper Turbo Aztec F
(Fully
De-iced
with Garmin 530W and King KFC200)
The Aztec was introduced
in 1960 and quickly got the well deserved reputation of being a
work-horse aircraft. The parallel valve Lycoming is
legendary for
its heartiness, typically running well past 2000 hours when treated
well, even when
turbo-charged.
The F-model was the last of the Aztec production, and had a number of
refinements. The modern Turbo Aztecs were equipped with a
Turbo-Supercharged Lycoming TIO-540-C1A (replacing the early
Turbo's quirky turbo-normalized system which even had a separate
turbo-oil system which used automotive oil!).
This F model Turbo Aztec has no known damage history, and has been
consistently well maintained throughout its life. With the Garmin
530 WAAS and King KFC-200, she is a very capable IFR cross-country
machine that can haul six adults comfortably!

Paint & Interior
Paint was done in 1992 by Cimmarron,
and is in good condition, with fresh professional touchup. Paint
condition shows how well kept this Aztec is, verifying that she has
spent little time out in the elements. Glass is in very good
condition.
