Grumman AA5B Tiger
The
Grumman American Tiger was introduced in the 1975 model year, and
gained a following quickly for its economical performance and
simplicity. With a bit more speed than competing fixed gear 180hp
four-seaters, the Grumman Tiger is a sought after plane. The
Lycoming O-360 has proven to be, if not the best, one of the best
engines in general aviation history.
N1519R is the 19th Tiger produced. This plane had
damage history early in its life but has had decades and 100's of hours
in service since. With nice cosmetics and a basic IFR avionics
package, this plane is ready to travel. Its Lycoming O-360 is
famous for going way past the recommended TBO, and likely still has a
lifetime of flying left in it.
This plane is hangared at the Greeley Weld County Airport, and is
available for inspection by appointment. Please feel free to call
to discuss avionics upgrades, financing, insurance and transition
training options.
