SOLD - 1964 Cessna 210D Centurion - SOLD

N3985Y is a 210D model, the first of the 285 hp Continental IO-520 powered Centurions.  Earlier models used the smaller Contiental IO-470 rated at 260 hp.  The 470 was a durable engine, but only last for two years of production in the new wide-body Centurion fuselage.  Cessna also introduced the child seat option in the Centurion with the D model.


This D model Centurion has spent the majority of its life in Colorado and the Chicago Area.  Western Skyways overhauled the engine, installing a VAR crank in 2004, so this engine has not been sitting around rotting like so many planes that you see these days.  A modernized IFR package with modified instrument layout with modern gyros, Garmin 420 GPS/Map/Comm, and JPI graphic engine monitor make this plane a joy to fly cross country.

Windshield was replaced with new grey smoke tinted one-piece windshield in 2007 - side and rear glass are in good condition.



Four seat interior was done in 1999 with an Airtex Interior.  Interior is in good condition with normal wear considering the years and usage.
