Beech 23 Custom
(180 hp Lycoming powered)
N7666R is a low time Beech 23 Custom
(later models were named Sundowner) with a 180hp Lycoming engine.
This Beech has only 2482 hours since new. The current owner purchased
this plane from the original owner. There is no known damage history,
and full maintenance records since new.
The Beech 23 is a great little trainer
and entry-level cross-country machine, with the long lasting and
bulletproof 180 hp Lycoming O-360, fantastic endurance and a roomy
cabin. The Beech 23 has the responsive and light controls that
you would expect from a Beechcraft trainer. The Century IIB
autopilot offers heading hold and wing leveler functions, and has
proven itself a great autopilot through the years.
With only 10 hours on a newly overhauled Lycoming O-360, this plane is
the type that can be flown for serveral hundred hours and sold for the
purchase price. The current owner is in need of a six-place
aircraft and thus has decided to sell N7666R.
