SOLD - 1966 Beech Baron C55 - SOLD

The 1966 Beech C55 Baron represents the first year the Baron was available with the bigger IO-520 engines, larger nose baggage and increased gross weight.  N688AC has been owned the past 10 years by a retired airline captain and A&P mechanic who has upgraded to a pressurized twin.  This Baron has been nicely updated with modern avionics, altitude hold autopilot, Garmin 430 GPS with MX20 multi-function display, and excellent engine monitoring capability.  Despite the high time engines, this plane is ready to go anywhere today - bladders are tight, flight controls are in great shape, and everything is working.

Please don't hesitate to call us at (303) 503-8356 with further questions regarding N688AC or the Baron in general, insurance, finance options, upgrades or transition training. This plane is based at the Longmont Vance Brand Airport in Colorado and can be viewed by appointment.

Paint & Interior

Paint was done by  in 1996, with metallic blue and dark charcoal metallic on base matterhorn white.  Paint is in very good condition with no appreciable loss of glossiness and only a few  flaws and wear in typical areas.

Interior was done in 2002 in grey leather and has the appearance of being very well treated and preserved, with only minimal wear showing in the typical areas for a leather interior. Interior appears to be a very expensive and professionally done refurbishment.  Windshield, pilot's & co-pilot's side glass are near new and in very good to excellent condition.  Side glass rear has a very good appearance with a few flaws and very slight milkiness in just the right light.  Carpet is in very nice condition.
