SOLD - 1947 Cessna 195 - SOLD

N4331N is the 78th Cessna 190/195 built, with an
Airworthiness Certificate issued in 1947. Recently rebuilt by
John Collett and Butterfly Aviation, this Businessliner has most of the
desirable modifications and optional equipment, as well as a low time
engine and propeller. This plane is ready to go with a recent
annual and dual yoke.
N4331N
was returned to service in 2003 after repairs (due to a stuck brake on
landing) by John Collett of Butterfly Aviation, Goodland Kansas.
Included in the rebuild was a fresh engine from Radial Engines LTD of
Guthrie OK, Fresh prop from Precision in Greeley CO, Prop Governor OH,
Alternator OH, Fresh Lord Mounts, Fresh Oil and Fuel Hoses, Fresh Fuel
MAP and Oil Pressure Lines, all new aircraft wiring installed, Barron
clean kit, Barron aileron inboard hinge kit, Ray's locking tailwheel
kit, Cessna fuel cap upgrade kit, BAS harnesses, BAS tail pull handles,
new left fuel bladder, and new paint.
N4331N has a relatively dry history for a Cessna 195. The first
owner was Nick Dellere of Manhattan, Kansas, who purchased the plane
from Yingling Aircraft in 1947. In 1968 Dick Nolan, an aircraft
dealer in Greeley CO purchased the plane from the original owner,
quickly reselling the plane to WJ Henrick of Redondo Beach,
California. After owning the plane for 6 months, WJ Henrich sold
to Edgar Hood of Palmdale California, in the desert just over the hill
from Southern California's San Fernando Valley. The next owner
was M. Mark Jackson of Lake Montezuma Arizona, who owned the plane from
1972 to 1979. George L. Koch of Tucson Arizona appears to be the
5th owner (dealers aside) from 1979 to 1984. In 1984 a dentist in
Tucson by the name of Charles R. Griffin Jr purchased N4331N, owning
the plane until it was repossessed in 1986. Off to Parker
Colorado in 1986 after Roy Fisher purchased the plane from the Valley
National Bank. In 1992, the 78th Cessna 195 built made its
way to the current owner, a rocket scientist based in Boulder
Colorado. Medical issues have encouraged the sale of this Golden
Age Cessna.
This plane is hangared at the Longmont Vance Brand Airport and
available for inspection on appointment.
