1980 Piper PA28-161Warrior II (160hp)

N81016 is a 1980 Piper Warrior II with the 160 hp Lycoming O-320-D3G and the more modern Piper semi-tapered wing.  This Warrior spent its early life as a trainer, and then since 1995 has belonged to a private owner.  This plane has paint and glass that make it look like a 10 year old plane. This plane is equipped with a basic IFR avionics package.

This Warrior will make a very good trainer / time builder for someone who is looking for something to fly a couple hundred hours and then get their money back out, as the Lycoming factory overhauled engine is at 810 hours or so currently.

This Warrior is based in Hayden, Idaho and can be viewed by appointment. Please don't hesitate to call us at (303) 503-8356 with further questions regarding this plane, insurance, finance options, avionics upgrades or transition training.

Paint & Interior

Paint looks to have been recently done split base white over burgundy with gold accents.  Paint shows just a bit of normal wear and tear, conservatively would rate a
7.0/10 (what most people call an 8).  There is little loss of glossiness.  Glass looks to be recently done, and is in very good condition as it has been hangared since.

Interior is original in brown tones, in very good shape considering its age and the amount of time on this Warrior.  Seats are in good condition.  There is significant staining on pilot and co-pilots carpeting -  needs cleaning or possibly replacement.
