1984 Piper Mojave PA31P-350

N9272Y is the 39th off the line of the Piper Mojave series.  This cabin class bird is the only pressurized twin from the major manufacturers that utilized the bulletproof TIO-540 Series Lycoming.  These angle valve, direct-drive engines of 350hp have a 2000 hour recommended TBO.  For years Piper produced this same basic plane with the more problematic geared TIGO-541 series Lycoming (a Duke engine with a reduction gearbox).  The Mojave was the result of Piper's effort to get the most durable of the high horsepower Lycomings onto their pressurized Navajo platform.  With the Mojave you can enjoy the Cheyenne I/II platform cabin with piston level expenses.

N9272Y recently came off a Part 135 maintenance program, and would be a relatively easy plane to put back into Part 135 service.  This plane is loaded with Garmin 600 primary flight display  fully coupled to a King KFC-250 Autopilot / Flight Director system, and Garmin 750 and 650 touchscreen Nav/Com/GPS/Map installs.  With low calendar and time in service on the engines, props and airframe, known-ice, air conditioning, and a top-of-the-line panel, this is a hard plane to beat in the cabin-class piston world.

This Mojave is based on the West Slope of Colorado and can be seen by appointment.  Please ask about delivery, training and upgrades. Please don't hesistate to inquire with regard to tailoring  this Aerostar to your needs (modifications, cosmetics, or avionics),  or to discuss financing options.

Paint and Interior:
.Paint is done in a very sharp white over royal blue split scheme with gold accents.  Paint shows a bit of normal age in the high wear areas with no appreciable loss of glossiness.  A good quality touchup would renew this plane to near new exterior condition.  Boots are in very good condition - this plane is flown in weather in the Rocky Mountains!

Interior is seven seat with potty, with a four seat club in the center with fold-out writing tables.  Pressurized baggage space is available in the aft cabin , with additional, non-pressurized nose baggage storage as well as dual wing locker storage areas.  Interior is custom leather seats done in Raisin and Cadence Custard, and Marquis Cappucino carpet.  Interior is an honest 8 on the Aircraft Bluebook Price Digest Scale, what many would call an 8.5 to 9.
