This low time Aerostar 702P conversion is one of the last produced - production unit number 19 of a total of 21 produced in 1983.  This plane is airframe 989 of the 1016 Aerostars of all models built. There are only 2 Aerostars produced after N602WK that are eligible for the latest gross weight increase modification.  1984 Aerostar 700P models were built on a separate type certificate and are not able to be modified for the 6850 lb gross weight, among other modifications.

N602WK is an Aerostar factory refurbished plane from 2009, where the plane was completely gone through and restored to top condition.  The price tag on an Aerostar built to this specification at that time was approaching a million dollars. This plane has all of the standard Machen / Aerostar upgrades available at the time, and only lacks Spoilers Inc. speedbrakes on the list of desirable modifications.

The current owner took one of the best quality panels in the fleet and spent nearly an additional $200k at Park Rapids Avionics installing all the latest and greatest Garmin radios, including dual GTN750Xi's, Garmin GDU1060 Primary Flight Display and Garmin GDU1060 Co-pilot's Display, GWX75 Remote Radar, Remote Audio Panel, Remote Transponder, and much more.

This Aerostar is based at the Blair Nebraska airport (KBTA), and can be seen by appointment only.  Insurance endorsed transition training and delivery are available.  Please don't hesitate to inquire with regard to upgrades or customization requests on this plane or with general Aerostar questions.

Paint and Interior:
Paint was done in 2009 as part of the Aerostar factory refurbishment at Sunquest in base silver metallic and navy blue accent.  Paint was professionally touched up in late 2023. (See pictures in gallery below)


Interior was done in 2009 as part of the Aerostar factory refurbishment and is in very good condition.  Pilot's side seat base  will be refurbished for sale. Full set of seats refurbished in 2009 with rear bench seat (not pictured), individual middle and pilot/co-pilots seats.  Right middle is a swivel seat for use with the table.  (See pictures in gallery below)
